The Glacier-Two Medicine Alliance is “Dedicated to the protection, stewardship, and shared enjoyment of the culturally- and ecologically-irreplaceable wild lands of the Badger-Two Medicine and its interconnected ecosystems.”
“A child of future generations will recognize and can experience the same cultural and ecological richness that we find in the wild lands of the Badger-Two Medicine today.”
Who We Are
The Glacier-Two Medicine Alliance (GTMA) is a local grassroots organization, based in East Glacier Park, MT, and surrounded by the glorious Badger-Two Medicine wilderness, Glacier National Park, and the Blackfeet Indian Reservation. We were organized in 1984, then incorporated as registered 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable organization in February 1985. We are local Montana residents; we are Blackfeet and non-native; we are educators, ranchers, farmers, healthcare providers, artists, musicians and merchants; we are kids, parents, grandparents, and great-grandparents; we are friends of Montana wilderness.
