This is a spectacular hike that ascends to a prominent crag on the western edge of the Badger-Two Medicine, with outstanding views up and down the Rocky Mountain Front as well as into the interior of the Badger and the Bob from the summit. We begin in mid-elevation grasslands and follow an access road toward Mount Baldy. Above Kiyo Lake we leave the road and work our way up along a broad ridge through patches of subalpine fir. The final approach to the Crag includes some talus and boulder field rock hopping. Excellent views the entire way. Not for the faint of heart.
