Join the Glacier-Two Medicine Alliance on Monday, July 1st at 8 am at Marias Pass to help fight noxious weeds! Organized by Glacier National Park, the Marias Pass Spray Day brings agencies, organizations and interested landowners together to tackle weed control along the Highway 2 corridor from Marias Pass to East Glacier. The Alliance is responsible for the rest area on the Pass which is on the boundary of the Badger-Two Medicine and a prime gateway into the back country. There are two ways to participate. If you're willing to spray, bring along a tank or backpack sprayer and the Park will fill you up. Be sure and wear boots, long pants and long sleeve shirts as well as rubber gloves. If you’re not interested in spraying, then grab a good pair of gloves and come prepared to pull some weeds. As always, lunch is provided by Rising Wolf Ranch at noon. To volunteer or for more information, please call GTMA's Weed Coordinator, Donna Caruso-Hirst at 338-2157 or email email@example.com.
