There are regular GTMA meetings the last Wednesday of every month at 6 PM. They are usually held in East Glacier Park. They are open to members as well as the public. Please contact us for upcoming meeting information.
As a grassroots organization, GTMA provides opportunities for the community to come together. Through these community outreach meetings, time and space are provided to share information and build relationships.
Winter Snowshoes and Summer Walks
Getting to know a landscape is an important step in wanting to work for its protection. To that end, GTMA partners with the Montana Wilderness Association to lead winter snow shoe expeditions and summer hikes through the Badger-Two Medicine.
Knapweed is an invasive, noxious weed found all over Montana including along the trails and edges of the Badger-Two Medicine. Each July, the Glacier-Two Medicine Alliance participates in the Marias Pass Spray Day. We also spend a day releasing knapweed weevils along the perimeter of the Badger-Two Medicine.
In addition to the Spray Day, GTMA involves our members and the community with direct hands-on action to protect the Badger-Two Medicine Roadless Area, pristine wilderness in Montana.
We’d love to have you join us for one of our events!
