The annual Fall Gathering of the Glacier-Two Medicine Alliance is a unique and remarkable community-centered celebration of the glorious Badger-Two Medicine and surrounding areas in the Crown of the Continent ecosystem.

  • Engaging talks and presentations, featuring Martha Williams, attorney and 18th director of the United States Fish and Wildlife Service from 2022 to 2025
  • Small group conversations on local conservation and management issues
  • Organized hikes into the Badger-Two Medicine and Glacier National Park
  • Delicious catered meals, snacks, plus hot and cold beverages
  • Live music by Dylan Running Crane and the John Floridis Trio!
  • Abundant opportunities to make new friends and connect with old ones
  • A fantastic live and silent auction to benefit the work of Glacier-Two Medicine Alliance

Fall Gathering Outings

Gather on Sunday at 8:30 a.m. in the parking lot across from Glacier Trading Company to enjoy coffee and baked goods, and to organize for outings. Bring your own lunch and equipment. Free and open to the public.

Aster Falls

2.8 miles, 300’ gain, easy

A gentle forest stroll with delightful scenery that ends at a lacy cascade waterfall in the Two Medicine valley of Glacier National Park. Enjoy views of SInopah, Rising Wolf and other peaks. Great opportunity to see moose. About 3 hours.

Hall Creek Drill Site Overlook

5 miles, 900’ gain, moderate

An oldie but a goodie back by popular demand. Enjoy a walk through forests, aspen stands, and open meadows to an overlook of the proposed Hall Creek Drill Site. Recall the victorious fight against oil and gas leasing as well as enjoy views of Glacier National Park. About 4 - 5 hours

Aspen Parklands in the Badger-Two Medicine

9.5 Miles, 1,200’ gain, difficult to strenuous.

A new lollipop hike that wanders through the stunning aspen parklands and coniferous forests below Two Medicine Ridge. Pleasant walking, more rolling than climbing. Good chance to see signs of wolf, grizzly bear, elk and moose, maybe even the animal itself. Two low water stream crossings may require sandals or bear feet. About 6 hours.

Connect the Crown Bus Tour

Bus Tour with stops, easy.

Enjoy an air conditioned bus tour of the US-2 Corridor with stops to view and visit about a few key areas identified as prime candidates for future wildlife accommodations, including the proposed Gateway to Glacier Wildlife Crossing. Bus provided by Sun Tours. About 4 - 5 hours.
