Communications Specialist
Salary: $55,000 - $62,000 / year depending on qualifications and experience.
Duration: Full time. Exempt. Benefits
Location: East Glacier Park, MT preferred; hybrid within two hours considered.
Position Overview:
The Communications Specialist is a dynamic position that aims to help Glacier-Two Medicine Alliance grow and develop its communications capacity, strategy, and practices. The position’s primary goals are 1) to engage and grow our membership and supporter base, and 2) to develop and implement integrated communications strategies to advance campaigns to protect wild places, connect habitat, recover species, or support the stewardship of public lands and wildlife in the central Crown of the Continent ecosystem. The Communications Specialist will work closely with a talented, growing team of seasoned conservation professionals to achieve these goals. Key responsibilities for the position include message development and strategy, content creation or coordination (including written, visual and possibly audio), and managing external communications, including newsletters, marketing materials, blog posts, social media, and other informational content. The Communications Specialist will also coordinate media relations and strategy, as well as assist other staff with development and outreach to ensure consistency of messaging and brand across the organization.
