Harvey Sansavere grew up exploring the lands surrounding Chief Mountain and remembers a time when native plants thrived there. After studying and working for the Bureau of Land Management in Missoula, Harvey returned home and is currently researching the antelope populations across reservations in Montana. Included in his data sets is the Traditional Ecological Knowledge of antelope and people. Harvey is traveling across the region, collecting these old stories of the relationship between antelope and humans. Harvey is also interested in the relationship between the bison and the landscape with his responsibilities with the Chief Mountain reintroduction project. Come join us to learn from this teacher and scientist express the ways that humans and wildlife are growing once again together across this landscape we all call home.

This is a free event. We look forward to having you join us!
