Learn about and fight invasive weeds in East Glacier Park!

Location: East Glacier Park, Mount Henry Trail
Type: Community Service & Education
Difficulty: Moderate

Join passionate local conservationsts for a hands-on adventure protecting East Glacier Park’s wild lands! Learn to identify invasive species while actively restoring native habitats alongside knowledgeable experts and fellow volunteers. Enjoy a complimentary lunch with spectacular mountain views, make new friends who share your environmental values, and take home practical skills you can use in your own backyard. No experience needed—just bring your enthusiasm and help preserve one of Montana’s most treasured landscapes for generations to come!

Meet at 10 a.m. in East Glacier at the Glacier Park Lodge.

There, Dawn LaFleur, Vegetation Program Manager for Glacier National Park, will be sharing knowledge about invasive and native species and their effects on the ecosystem.

Afterwards we will carpool and walk to the pull site. There we will pull for a few hours, followed by a delicious lunch and door prize drawings, and a chance to cool off in Midvale Creek. We hope to see you there!
