Our friends at NPCA and Wild Idea Media are hosting the first-ever public lands story telling event to celebrate our shared love of public lands. If you’ve ever listened to the Moth Radio Hour on NPR or any other community storytelling event (or just sat around the campfire spinning yarns with folks), that is what this event is all about: sharing favorite stories about what unites us in northwest Montana, our love of public lands.
Maybe it's a story about the wonder of sleeping under the stars for the first time on a family camping trip, the challenge and joy of a good hunt well ended and the opportunity to share the gift with family and friends, maybe it's a chance encounter with a wild animal, or how the serenity of a river trip provided healing and connection.
Whether you have a story to share, or just want to listen, please join us for an evening of sharing stories about the love of public lands.
Future events envisioned for communities around the Crown.
