Location: Hall Creek Trail in the Badger-Two Medicine area of the Helena-Lewis and Clark National Forest
Type: Out and Back
Distance: 4 – 5 miles
Difficulty: Moderate, 500′ of elevation gain
Join naturalist Lou Bruno and local flower-lover Laurie Lintner on this wildflower-focused walk into the Hall Creek portion of the Badger-Two Medicine Area. Lou and Laurie will help identify wildflowers. A special emphasis will be placed on locating bitterroots. The leisurely walk offers outstanding views of Glacier National Park as it passes through a delightful variety of plant communities from aspen parks to meadows to conifer forests. Some moderate climbing is involved. Official registration is with Wild Montana.
