Stewardship and Engagement Specialist
Wage: $24 - $27 / hour depending on experience.
Duration: Full time. Non Exempt. Benefits

Position Overview:
The Stewardship and Engagement Specialist is a dynamic, leadership position that leads Glacier-Two Medicine Alliance’s (GTMA) conservation stewardship programs and community engagement efforts. Key responsibilities include coordinating a Bear Smart-type program to reduce human – grizzly bear conflicts and improve coexistence, coordinating the removal or modification of old fences in the Badger-Two Medicine, facilitating volunteer-focused stewardship projects, and organizing educational programs, including recreational outings, for community organizations and the public. Much of this work is in collaboration with other entities, including conservation or community organizations, or federal, Tribal, or state agencies. The Stewardship and Engagement Specialist also leads GTMAs efforts to build and support community partnerships, particularly on the Blackfeet Reservation, and grow and engage our supporters in carrying out our mission.
